Okay, as a parent of a VERY loud child, when I was asked to try out these noise (and water) blocking earplugs from ZenPlugs®, I was stoked! Read on to learn my thoughts.
In all seriousness, these ZenPlugs are awesome. They really aren’t for me, although my son is super loud. They’re for my husband to use when he goes to the range and for swimming. You see, my husband has a permanent hole in his left ear drum, so he has to be careful about getting water in that ear. He has tried every plug on the market and they all seem to let water in.
So what makes ZenPlugs® so special?
ZenPlugs new and improved ear plugs are able to be molded to YOUR ears! They’re softer and more comfortable than ever before. Unlike other moldable earplugs, ZenPlugs can be remolded as many times as needed. They not only block out noise, but can be worn to keep water out of the ears.
Easy to mold
Make sure you read the instructions first, but I will run through how easy it is to mold your ZenPlugs. First, fill a mug with boiling water, and out in the assembled earplug. Set a timer for two minutes. Place a small amount of the enclosed lubricant in your right ear. (This will help to remove the plug, and improve the fit.) When te timer goes off, remove the earplug, gently shake off the water and let it cool for ten seconds. Next, insert it into the opening of your right ear, gently press inwards, and hold for five seconds. Now you can let go, but leave it in your ear for five minutes. When that time is up, remove the plug, take out the handle, and repeat the steps for your left ear. It’s really super easy! My hubby did his by himself, and had no issues.
