Make some 3-ingredient
for a delicious dinner. Cooked starchy potatoes are mixed with flour and egg to create a dough and then rolled into gnocchi shapes and boiled until tender.
Yukon or Russet Potatoes
peeled and cooked
flour + more for rolling
Place the potatoes in a bowl and mash them until there are no lumps.
Add the salt and mix.
Add the flour and egg and with the help of your hands knead until you have a soft dough.
Cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Cut out a piece, the size of a lemon, and roll until you have a long rope.
With a knife cut out small 3/4 inch gnocchi squares.
Sprinkle with a little bit more flour and press/roll in a fork to shape the gnocchi.
