We LOVE pickles, and our favorite is Vlasic Dill Pickles!
Several times a day I get that….YOU NEED SALT craving that drives me crazy. I usually want chips at that moment, but my daughter is on me about healthier snacks. So when I get that craving for a salty snack, I will crunch a Vlasic Dill Pickle – not a chip!
Vlasic Dill Pickles are a delicious, zero calorie snack that has no fat and only one gram of carbohydrates, but an unlimited crunchy taste! Oh my its good for you too! A serving of Vlasic Dill Pickles contains 4.2 calories. The FDA allows a ‘calorie-free’ claim when calories are less than 5, as it is dietarily insignificant. Alternately, the ‘bread and buIer’ and sweet pickles contain just 20 to 30 calories per serving. Oh, I love the bread and butter on my tuna sandwiches- I can handle the extra calories!
However, our favorite sandwich is the Pickle and Salami…what a treat!
We also pack PICKLES in our summer picnics plus I know I better keep a couple of jars for school lunches and after school snacks.
We love how crunchy and how awesome Vlasic Dill Pickles taste. One of my favorite snacks is to wrap a pickle up in cheddar cheese. I know a bit odd but when I was pregnant with my daughter that is all I wanted was pickles and cheddar cheese. Funny thing is my daughter is the biggest PICKLE snacker. She will go through a jar in one week, not a problem. It is super easy for her to get herself and you know they taste so good.
