Thyroid Medullary Throat Cancer

Have you ever heard of Thyroid Cancer ? I know i haven’t, I have heard of several different types of cancer but never Thyroid Medullary Cancer. I will inform you of the type of cancer it is. It is a cancer that is in the thyroid glands right below the throat. There isn’t much known information on throat cancer and it can be scary for the person who gets diagnosed with it. I would be scared to death and also the support that they would need . It is Thyroid Medullary Cancer Month in September.

People who are diagnosed with this type of caner don’t have to worry they now have a community support group. There are 62,900 cases of Thyroid cancer diagnosed every year. With that many people you have a lot of them that are looking for answers and also looking for a community to join to get facts and to have others that are going through he same-thing  that they are. The website that you can go to for support and information about Thyroid Cancer

What is great is that AstraZeneca plans to update the website on a routine basis. Which that is great because it will give the community up to date information so that they may speak with Dr or family to let them know what is going on. It also gives resources to the patients that they might not other wise know about and take advantage of and get the support that they need and want.

If you know someone ho suffers from Thyroid Medullary Cancer point then in the direction of the aMTC website for further information.
