State Farm Neighborhood Assist

State Farm Neighborhood Assist is returning for its fourth year. Whats so exciting about this program, is that neighbors from all over the country can help to change their neighborhood. And its all done from the state farm neighborhood assist program, they award 40 causes a 25,000 dollar grant. That means anyone in the United States can summit the cause they want to help, from Match 9 through March 30.

How it works is the voters will decide on which community improvement projects will win big. That is so awesome to have a say in what you want, fixed in your community and be able to vote on it. State Farm neighborhood Assist asks that every individual identify a cause, that will help their community become safer stronger and better educated. And in any neighborhood we are always worried about our children’s safety, as well as all the adults. And being able to teach our children is a bigger problem some community seem to have.

The public will have a chance to vote 10 times a day from May 14 through June 3 for their favorite causes from the list of finalists. Up to 4000 causes will be accepted and the public will have a chance to vote 10 times a day, from May 14 to June 3 for the one that they want to win. After everything is done and the votes are counted, the 40 causes with the most votes will get the 25,000 grant. When the time comes to vote the nominations will be except exclusively through a free Facebook app.

Since the program began, State Farm has awarded $3 million to 120 communities across North America, supporting a wide variety of causes, including fighting childhood hunger, helping homeless veterans, revitalizing parks, improving literacy and offering athletic programs for children with disabilities.

State Farm Neighborhood Assist is just the thing a lot of communities need, to pull together and make things better for the people who need it most. This year I plan to be apart of this exciting project and help out my own state.
