Fun in the sun!
That is what summer is all about in our family. We try to get outside and get moving together. A great time we have as a family is playing games in the back yard. We love to play croquet, baseball and many other games. Usually, we have picnics or family gatherings that end up with everyone running around.
Ready, Set, Scatter!
We started out with everyone getting two of the same color wristbands to wear. This essentially gives you two strikes before you sit out. Each time a player gets hit you surrender a wristband to the thrower. After two hits you are out. Unless you can catch the throwers ball and then they have to give you one of their wristbands. The game starts with a roll of the dice. This decides who the thrower will be. Whoever’s color is rolled grabs the ball while the rest of the group scatters! The winner is determined by who collects all the wristbands first!
This game is a hoot. We played as a family and it was great to get up, get outside and get moving! I remember rough times as a child getting hit with a dodge ball and suffering through the sting that always seemed to come. This ball is great since there is no sting when you are hit. The roll of the dice makes every game unique since you don’t know who will be the thrower at any time.
Overall, we had fun! That is the focus of Coop Sports and it was true. We loved trying out a new game and made a memory in the process! Do you like to play games as a family?
