A common misconception is that winter sun isn’t as strong as summer. That’s wrong. The UVB rays don’t reach us in the winter because of the Earth’s tilt, but, the UVA rays are always reaching us, and can in fact still burn our skin. Also, add in the reflection from the snow, and we can indeed get sun burned in the winter. That’s why you need to protect you and your family’s skin.
