Pee on It and Walk Away!

“Pee on It and Walk Away.”  It’s as easy as that.  You can learn a lot from Superdog Abby, and this book is right on the money giving life lessons from a dog that you can use in your day to day life.

“Pee on It and Walk Away: How to Stay Stress-Free Among Difficult People. Life Lessons from Superdog Abby” written by Esther Yang and Roger Ziegler is a book that I instantly fell in love with.  Every page has a little lesson if you will and a super cute picture to go with it.  The “advice” is spot on and Abby really is a smart doggy!

Reading through “Pee on It and Walk Away” I found myself smiling and chuckling at times.  You cannot help but smile looking at these pictures, and the “life lessons” are totally relatable.  I started reading it after work and I am always pretty stressed when done with work and by the time I was a few pages in I could feel my stress melting away.  There is just something about animals that is therapeutic, and the cute pictures in my opinion are a definite bonus to each lesson.

This book would be good for any ages.  There are things in the book we all need to be reminded of sometimes.  One page that particularly stood out for me was one that started off with not to take things personally.  I just got finished explaining this to my daughter.  Most of the time it’s not you, it’s them.  This book reinforces that with a cute picture to boot and now I am validated because someone else said it (so now I won’t get the credit for it of course but that’s okay!).  Children can learn from this book, adults can learn from this book.  Sometimes you just need reminders of things and this book emphasizes those things.  It just took a cute doggy to open my eyes! I found myself nodding with some of the pages and having aha moments.  The book is really a gem, and with its layout you can pick it up whenever, leave off and pick it up again. Some pages I just kept going back to because of the cute picture or the words itself that I used as an example for my daughter.  Not to mention, the minute you see the title you smile.  My daughter got a big kick out of it!

If you want a feel-good book that you can look at over and over again and grab when you are feeling a bit stressed or down and guarantee a smile, definitely pick up this book.  It would be good for all ages, definitely relatable to all ages, and would be an ideal gift for those who have everything or are hard to shop for.  Animal lovers will also love it regardless with all the cute pictures in it, right there is enough to make you smile but the lessons learned in the book will be an added bonus for them!
