HOW LONG DOES IT REALLY TAKE TO MAKE OREO MUMMY TREATS?

This Oreo Mummy Treat is a no-bake snack so you can whip it up fast!

This Oreo Treat recipe takes approximately 35 minutes. TOTAL.

This includes:

  • About 5 minutes of prep time
  • Close to 1 minutes to melt the chocolate
  • Around 6 minutes dip each cookie into the chocolate
  • 5 minutes to drizzle chocolate all over the cookies
  • 3 minutes to add eyes
  • 15 minutes for the chocolate to set in the fridge

DO I NEED TO USE WHITE CHOCOLATE?

Nope, but by using white chocolate they look like bandages on mummies.

You could use any color of chocolate and still end up with a delicious Halloween treat.

However, in my opinion, white chocolate makes the best mummies!

There’s nothing more I love about Halloween than baking up some spooky treats.

I realize that many kids are spoiled with an abundant amount of candy during this time of the year, but I like putting in the extra time and effort and make a dessert that many of them have never seen before.
