Books make great holiday gifts! Those of us behind Kelly’s Thoughts on Things, are working diligently to compile a fantastic list of holiday gift ideas, and yes, we’ve included books! Today I want to tell you about one that’s perfect for the children in your life. My Mindful Book of ABC’s by Kathy Walsh.
Children will learn their ABC’s while learning mindfulness as well
This book is precious! I really can’t think of a better word to describe it. While you read this book to your child, you will not only be teaching them their ABC’s, but you’ll be teaching them happiness, kindness, gratitude and so on.
The illustrations by Clare Wassermann are whimsical and so very vibrant and colorful. They will surely catch the eyes of your little ones, as well as your own. Before I even had Liam read it to me, we went through and just looked at all the illustrations.

Liam loves this book! We both think it would make an amazing gift for any child, this holiday season. When you give the gift of reading, you are giving more than a gift of words. You’re opening up new doors to dreams, and imagination, that will carry your children through life.
