More Than a Mason Jar

There are so many special occasions coming up in the next few months. There's Mother's Day, Father's Day, Graduations, Weddings and maybe even a few birthdays. I love looking for a unique gift ideas for special occasions. The Uncommon Green has a spectacular collection of unique barware that would make a awesome gift or party favor. I have fallen in love with thier Map Mason 16 ounce drinking jars. The first thing I thought of when I saw one was to fill it with candy and use as party favors!!

I used our Map Mason jar to gift to our teacher for Easter. I filled it with colorful easter candies and sent it to school with my daughter to give her. She loved it! I figure this woman works so hard taking care of my child as well as 23 other children every single day she could use a little something to show how much we appreciate her and all her hard work.

The mason jar would also be perfect for summer BBQs! You could make individual fruit flavored waters or teas or even cocktails and put them in each jar, screw the lid on tight and place them in buckets of ice around the tables. How cute would that be? And you can get a map of your city or a quote on them or even customize them to commemorate the date or event.

The Uncommon Green has lots of barware to choose from. There are various types of glasses with city maps or college towns or even mountains! Then there are glasses with historical quotes (like the Declaration of Independence) or math and science quotes. Those would make great end of year gifts for teachers. And they even do customized orders for events. So if you were having a wedding you could Mason Jars with your wedding date and fill them with candies. They would make super cute centerpieces and party favors.

There is just so much you can do with these that I am hooked. I love the mason jars the most because I can think of all these wonderful gift ideas.  All the barware is unique and would be great conversation starters. Hand someone a drink in a class that has the Declaration of Independance etched on it, not only is it cool but it's not something you see everyday. Or gift a set of wine glasses with a map of the city the couple met in. I could go on and on but you really should head on over to The Uncommon Green and check them out.
