Keeping Baby Calm by Swaddling
When I had children (a while ago), we didn’t even know what “swaddling” was, or at least, I didn’t. However, once my daughter had her little girl early (a preemie), we learned that swaddling was very important to make her feel secure. I didn’t actually believe it until I saw it myself! Swaddling can take a fussy, crying baby and calm them right down.

Now that my “premature” granddaughter is in school, she certainly doesn’t need to be swaddled anymore. I do have a fairly new (6-month old) granddaughter, and I will be using this Audrey’s Bear swaddling blanket on her. Sometimes she likes it, but other times she hates being wrapped up.
She does seem to like the softness of the blanket though. She sits and rubs it with her little fingers. I am so impressed at how the blanket is soft and somewhat heavy, but still light and comfortable for them. It doesn’t hold heat in, which I think is very important!
Swaddle Blanket
Since my newest granddaughter is getting older now, she may not need swaddling. However, you can bet that we will still use this beautiful swaddle blanket to cover her up when she is chilly. It doesn’t have to be used to wrap them, you can simply warm them up. The blanket is so beautiful, it is covered in flowers and has a grey color to it. Of course, it also has her name all over it too.
Personalization is such a great way to show someone you care. Even after Arya (my granddaughter) outgrows the blanket, she can keep it as a keepsake. Heck, she could even use it as she gets older, or hand it down to her own children.

Babies need so many things, but you never know if your gift will actually be used. A swaddle blanket will certainly be something that is needed!
