Halloween is approaching and it is one of our favorite times of the year. Between the costumes, candy, tricks and treats and all of the fun and excitement of dressing up. But, as a parent, grandparent or caregiver of any child you also know it can be scary. American Academy of Pediatrics send out a list each year of a few tips that can help your Halloween stay safe.
1. Check your child’s costume for suffocation, choking and tripping hazards
2. Reflective material will make strollers and pedestrians more visible to traffic
3. Let Kids Carry a Lantern to light their Trick or Treat Path
HABA has a great selection of Halloween costumes that will let your kids looks cute, while keeping them safe. My granddaughter is in love with the Fairy Fina Dress. I love how this dress is made. It is so soft and flowy. She run around, well she “flew” around the house. It is made for children ages 3 – 6. My granddaughter is 6 and it fits great. She has long legs and it looks beautiful on her. The way it is made it will either fit longer on smaller children. And if they are a little taller, you can add leggings or pants underneath. The velcro and ribbon on the back also help make it adjustable.
I love these wings. They look so pretty on her especially with the Fairy Fina Dress. They made her feel like she really was a fairy and could fly away. I know she will be the prettiest fairy out there on Halloween night.
After flying around all day, even a fairy needs some time away. She made her a fairy fort and drew and colored some pictures for me.
