The biggest thing I loved doing with my children is, the bedtime reading. This was always my special time, and they enjoyed this mommy time. Now when it comes to our Liam, we love collecting books for him. especially all kind of holiday ones.
We love the little critter books, and this Thanksgiving one is so adorable. Now he is going to have a Thanksgiving he’ll never forget! From the school play to a surprise dinner for all of Critterville, celebrate along with Little Critter and his family as they give thanks, this holiday.
He loves to look at the pictures and listen to your every word. The Critter books are so good for him. And we enjoy them as well as we read to him. his is a very cute book with really nice illustrations and such a good story.
Another cute book is Thanksgiving at the Tappletons
When we were young Thanksgiving was a big family get together, and with this book its the same. But this Thanksgiving each task is interrupted by calamity and hilarity: first the turkey slips away . . . then the bakery is sold out . . . and so on, until Uncle Fritz and Grandfather Tappleton despair of ever eating dinner at all!
It’s not until Grandmother Appleton reminds everyone, “there is more to Thanksgiving than a turkey and trimmings,” that the Tappletons begin to improvise . . . and end up enjoying a most unusual holiday “feast.”
Delicious drawings add to the merriment of this warm, contemporary tale, whose mirth and message youngsters will savor.
These are great books for the holiday seasons, teaching your children the real meaning of thanks. Members of the family make simple mistakes, but each character refuses to take personal responsibility for ruining their share of Thanksgiving until it is too late.
