What to Buy the Traveler in Your Life
I travel sometimes and having no wi-fi is probably the most frustrating issue I have because my job is online. I need WI-FI so having access to 1 million hotspots which does include airports, hotels, convention centers, stadiums, malls and more makes me a very happy blogger! My hubby tells me I’m hard to shop for but he doesn’t always think OUTSIDE OF THE BOX and long term gifts I might need…like out of town wi-fi. This is perfect and the price is very reasonable.
Boingo has different subscription plans, the unlimited wi-fi plan is the most popular ($9.95/month, $4.98 for the first month). It includes access to Passpoint-enabled networks, a new technology that launched in 2014 and is changing the airport Wi-Fi experience by eliminating the need for passwords, apps and webpage redirects. Well thats a nice little perk. I hate trying to remember my password.
My husband did ask an important question…does it affect our cellphone data service…NO! Not even possible. They also have 24-Hour Support-every day of the year. My family can enjoy Boingo too because when we are at the airport we can stream the kids favorite movie and I can still get work done because we can have up to 2 devices connected. You can add more for $5 more.
What I like the most is the Boingo Wi-Finder App- download for free. It lets me know when I’m by a HOTSPOT. Now that is a great feature. I can use it around town too.
