Once again, I’m in love with my newest Starlooks products. The February Starlooks Starbox has a fun pink type theme which is adorable. This month makeup artist Lauren Clark collaborated on a special edition box, and I love this box, so pretty. This month’s theme is pink and I will admit that I am not a big pink fan, but again, the point of subscription boxes is to let you try stuff you normally wouldn’t have picked for yourself.
I have done 1 other review on their monthly Starbox. This is a box you get with Starlooks makeup in it and it’s at a reduced price. You get a box for $15 that is worth much more. It’s about $35 worth of quality makeup. The best part is that you get awesome surprises when you order. You don’t know what will be in each box. It is really fun to open the box when it arrives too! You most defiantly get your moneys worth and I dont know of any subscription box companies that can beat this price for full size products. Its a great price and worth it.
My box contained four awesome products including HD Fluid Blush, Lip Gloss, Lip Liner & Infinity Pot Eye Liner…all gorgeous!
When I opened my Starlooks box this is what it looked like. Very pretty purple paper covering all the products. I also had a few cards. One card was about the makeup Artist Lauren Clark. She explains great ways to use the makeup that came in the box and there is also information about her background so you have an idea who she is. The other cards showed you how much the products are priced at and tells you more info one the makeup.
HD Fluid Blush in Barbie –
I was afraid of this blush. First off, I’ve never used a liquid blush and was super intimidated. Secondly, the name of the blush describes this color to the tee. It in the perfect baby pink. If you use a careful hand and a little bit, you can create a really pretty pink-y glow that’s perfect for Spring.
Infinity Pot Liner (Satin) in Princess Diaries –
I wasn’t sure how to wear this “liner” at first so I tried a whole bunch of different ways. There’s lots of options: as a creme eyeshadow on the lid, as a highlight in the inner corner, as a liner…etc. I really liked them all and love how versatile this is. Very smooth and not flakey through the day. This is a waterproof and smudge proof liner. It can be used as both a liner and a shadow, so it’s quite versatile. It is a soft, baby pink, and the quality is smooth and relatively light.
Lipgloss in Pink Oasis –
“A lavender lipgloss? LAVENDER!? ” Do not fear, it’s not really that lavender on your lips. It’s basically a darkened pink with loads of shimmer in it. But not the tacky shimmer, it’s pretty, I promise. I was surprised that this lipgloss wasn’t as sticky as I thought it would be. I always have to have lip gloss with some shimmer so this gloss is perfect for me. I have had many many lip glosses that were very sticky and made my lips feel glued together. This Gloss did not do that at all. My lips felt moisturized and smooth.
Lip Liner in Tipsy –
This is beautiful coral color, that is highly pigmented, with a decent amount of moisture to it, and a nice soft texture.
