If anyone knows me…I’m not a cook! I was hoping to marry someone who liked cooking, but that didn’t happen either. I feel sorry for my family because of the food I make is so simple and most of the time is boring. I look at recipe books but sometimes they confuse me with all their fancy techniques and food I don’t eat.
Then I found my favorite RECIPE BOOKS-DUMP MEALS by Cathy Mitchell
Now I can dump 5 ingredients or less into my crockpot and dinner will be ready in no time. My family will enjoy hearty main dishes, simmering soups, chilis, delicious desserts and so much more. All I need to do is chop, dump and slow cook my meal. By the way, I love my slow cooker! If I could cook in there every night I would. The recipes in this book are simple to follow. For example, the other night my family wanted some Collard Greens and of course, I gave them that WTH look because I have no idea how to cook that! I looked in this book and guessed what I found a real simple recipe for Collard Greens so I tried it, and it came out yummy! I’m going to be using this book for a long time! This week I’m trying the Cheesy Dump Pizza for sure.
This cookbook is my favorite due to all the recipes I know my family will love. I have so many other things to do than be in the kitchen. So being able to dump, bake and serve is just the way I love to cook. I can make “from scratch” dinners, no boxed food included! This book is loaded with recipes I never thought I could make for my family, but this is so simple even I can do this! My daughter went in and marked some she wants us to try:
- Cheesy Loaded Chicken and Potato Casserole
- Italian Stuffed Chicken Breasts
- Baked Porcupine Meatballs
- Caramel Pull-Apart Bread
We’re making this one tonight:
There are over 250 incredibly delicious recipes that you can dump and bake! I can make a homemade cake in munites now! I can start making desserts now. Not sour if my body is ready for this, but my family can’t wait for me to include dessert in the family meal. If I know someone is coming over, I can throw something together now that will taste good. My daughter who is the baker, can’t wait to try some recipes she has picked out.
- S’more Magic Bars
- Red Velvet Cake
- Strawberry Banana Cake
- White Chocolate Almond Brownies
We might even make holiday baking baskets this holiday because we know we can do these recipes!
For a busy mom who wants to feed her family delicious homemade meals, these books are fabulous and will come in handy! Perfect gifts for newlyweds, parents to be, parents, to be honest, anyone who wants to cook but relly doesn’t know how! For $10 a is so worth the money- which is a bargain.
