I recently had the chance to review Char Crust. I love cooking and trying new seasonings. Char Crust sent me Original Hickory Grilled and Roasted Garlic Peppercorn. When I heard about Char Crust I knew this was something I wanted to try. Not only did it sound yummy but it would spare my family from the same old same old for dinner.
Tonight I made T bone steaks and decided to use the Roasted Peppercorn rub.
This is an amazingly good dry rub seasoning. It is very easy to use. I coated both steaks in the rub. The spice blends of each flavor are well balanced, with no overwhelming taste I tried. Also, the seasoning combinations are things I wouldn’t think to combine, so it was great being able to just dredge the food in a pre-mixed seasoning and not worry if I’d used the best spice for the desired result. Oh, and another thing I loved is that the seasonings truly do seal in the juices. Good stuff!
I can’t really explain the taste other than to say its delicious! Char Crust forms a slight crust around the food sealing in the juices and giving it a rich flavor. It does look maybe burned after its cooked but its actually just the seasoning seared into the food, I promise its not actually burned! I would recommend Char Crust’s products if your looking to add flavor and make your food taste different than everyday flavor. They have so many more flavors to check out. Head over to their page!
