October is many things. Cool, crisp, beautiful. It’s also a month of many awareness and observances. Breast Cancer, Sensory Processing Disorder, Stomp Out Bullying, and more. Did you know that it’s also pizza month?
In October of 1984, Gary Durnell, the publisher of Pizza Today Magazine, created National Pizza Month. What better way to celebrate a beloved food, than gathering your family, and making home made pizzas with T-Fal’s AirBake Pizza Pan, and T-Fal’s Ingenio Tritan Pizza Wheel.
T-Fal AirBake Natural Large Pizza Pan
Gather your offspring. Gather your preferred ingredients. Get your hands on the T-Fal AirBake Natural Large Pizza Pan, and get making some memories!
This insulated aluminum pizza pan and micro dome technology provides a faster cooking time, and a more even baking of the crust. It’s not only durable, but also dishwasher safe. This will last for years of pizza baking! The size is great! It’s diameter is 15 and 3/4 inches. Perfect for a family sized pizza! (You can also get a smaller version of this pan HERE.)
T-Fal Ingenio Tritan Pizza Wheel
You have to have something to cut your pizza creation! I recommend the T-Fal Ingenio Tritan Pizza Wheel. The sturdy tritan blade, ensurse precision cutting and slicing. The blade also comes off to make clean up a breeze. (I loathe other pizza cutters because cleaning them is such a pain!) The durable tritan construction will ensure that this cutter will last your family for years to come. Made of stainless steel and plastic, this cutter is also dishwasher safe. You can get one HERE.
Otherwise known as calzone is my husband’s preferred pizza. I make this for him at least once a month in the cooler months. It’s super easy too! Here’s what you’ll need:
- 2 pre-made pizza dough crusts
- mozzarella (2-4 cups)
- cheddar (optional)
- toppings (we use pepperoni and ham)
- sauce (again, optional. My husband prefers no sauce.)
Let’s make it!
Okay, so this is easy peasy! Simply open one of the pizza dough canisters, and spread your dough over your T-Fal AirBake Pizza pan. Next, spread on your Ricotta, and sauce if you’re using it. Now you can layer your toppings. (When I make it for my parents I add peppers, onions, olives, and more.) Top with mozzarella cheese. I use about three cups, then I add in cheddar cheese too. Now open the other dough, spread over the top, and seal the sides with your fingers by pinching it. Bake at directed temperature and time. When it’s golden brown, it’s done. That’s it!
Enjoy National Pizza Month with T-Fal and the ones you love!
