What is Bong?

Bong is more like a Hookah or Shisha, but the shape is different, and most of the times you will find it glass material. Even functionality is similar to hookah or shisha, but for moms, the purpose is bit different.

Let’s discuss the structure of the bong. There’s a large tube type glass which is used as a mouthpiece. This glass tube is directly attached to a wider glass chamber where water is filled to a certain level. Then at the above surface of the chamber, there’s a hole where the lower stem is placed, and above that, there’s a bowl attached which is often termed as the cone. It’s the part where herbs or cannabis is burned. When the user inhales through the mouthpiece, the smoke passes through the lower stem and then enters the water. Water bubbles are created, and the smoke is filtered and enters the glass tube. As it gets cooled by the water, it gives a pleasant taste and experience to the user while she inhales.

The structure mentioned above is just the basic structure of a bong. In the market, where you can buy bongs online, you will find a variety of bongs available for all types of users including bongs for moms and the most popular one are ozbongs. Some may have added ice catcher for extra chilled inhaling effect. Some may add more filters in the glass type as an extra precautionary measure and so on.

How to Use a Bong?

Pour water into the bong through the mouthpiece very carefully. Fill it up to the marked level. If there’s no marking for the best water level, then make sure that water is almost twenty millimeters higher than the lower stem. When the water is filled, test it by inhaling. If the water gets sucked into the glass tube of the mouthpiece, then it means that water is more than required. You will have to reduce it to a certain level.

  • Remove the bowl from the bong and add the herbs to it. For better inhaling experience a quarter teaspoon of herbs is enough.
  • If you want chilling experience, then check if your bong’s mouthpiece has an ice catcher. Put a couple of ice cubes in the mouthpiece if you have the ice catcher.
  • First few puffs can cause coughing, so it’s better to keep a glass of water near you in case the smoke gets stuck in your throat.
  • Coughing can cause the sudden need of peeing to most of the women, so it’s a good idea to pee before you start inhaling.
  • To keep smoke filtered and better, you should keep changing the water in the bong whenever you feel the need to change.
  • Keep an eye on the water level while you are sucking or inhaling because water can enter your mouthpiece and then into your mouth. And believe me, it won’t be a good experience at all.
