We love our Fancy Nancy books, nothing brings our family together then reading a great book together. And this book is no exception. Nancy loves her soccer and her team the same. shes really not on the team but loves it all the same. Nancy learned that with practice comes improvement, that her body is strong and capable and that girls can be both fancy and enjoy sports, that is so true we grew up with a brother and play every sport and still look fancy and sweet.
There are so many lessons that can be learned and the Fancy Nancy books. teach them in many ways. This leads her to realize the importance of practicing and being their for her team once she has said she wants to pursue soccer. And with practice we can learn to be the best we can be. Nancy and Clara are the ones who want to improve. We follow the team as their soccer team plays each week. Lionel is their mascot and that is a treat.
My son loves when I read to him and he gets a kick out of the pictures in the books. He will try and read aong with me and thats great. He hisself loves playing soccer and we kick the ball with him when hes wanting too.
Nancy Clancy loves playing on her soccer team, the Green Goblins. Even though she’s not the best player on the team, she’s happy just being average—after all, it’s her goal to be mediocre. But in the last game of the season, with only a few minutes left on the clock, a surprising encounter on the field causes Nancy to make an incredible play. Will Nancy help bring the Green Goblins to victory and prove, against all odds, that maybe she’s not such a bad player?
