I used to get my nails done every week and then I had KIDS, so that wasn’t a priority anymore. Well guess what it is NOW, but I’m having some issues when it comes to the UV Lamp that dries your nails. Did you know that the lamps used to cure the gel, emit UV radiation and each gel manicure was equivalent to being in the direct sun for approximately 21 to 40 minutes? Really! That doesn’t sound healthy or good for your hands.
Getting my nails done made me feel good about myself, and I stopped because I was in pain after getting the gel nails done. I know it was probably the chemicals this particular shop used, but I’m afraid. I’m going to go through the same issues. Gel nails last longer but the pain isn’t worth it.
