Every mom understands what it means to need “me time.” We spend so much of our energy caring for others that sometimes it’s difficult to fit in a few moments for ourselves. For me, those moments come early in the morning after Thing 1 and Thing 2 are off to school and Thing 3 is sound asleep. I grab a big ole cup of Joe, turn on the DVR and bask in the joy of being able to enjoy complete silence (except for the tv), my breakfast, and coffee without any interruptions. But drinking coffee morning after morning gets boring, which is why I love the holiday season. All of the good flavors come out around this time and they are such a great way to jazz up your coffee routine.
Right now the Pumpkin Spice Latte Drink Mix from Tastefully Simple is my absolute favorite seasonal flavor. This is my first time having anything pumpkin spice and I’m totally shocked by how magically delicious this stuff tastes. Honestly, the only thing pumpkin that has ever touched my tongue is roasted pumpkin seeds, which are delicious by the way. I’ve heard others say how awful pumpkin spice is so I had written it off as one of those things that isn’t worth trying. BUT I’m so happy that I decided to push my preconceived notions to the side and finally taste what this flavor has to offer.
The people that slammed pumpkin spice, must not have tried any from Tastefully Simple. Seriously..who could dislike this stuff?? This creamy, cozy sweet latte contains real pumpkin and iconic Fall spices. Don’t stop at the latte! It can also be used to make a frappe. Simply toss a few scoops into the blender along with milk and ice, mix it all together, and voila…You’ve got a frappe! I’ve tried both and thoroughly enjoyed them. Now, I feel like I’m cheating on my regular coffee with pumpkin spice lol.
