“We created a new adult party game called Utter Nonsense – The Inappropriate Accent Game. The concept is simple, players take turns saying funny and outrageous phrases in stereotypical accents like Pirate, Redneck, British, or Valley Girl. If you are familiar with Cards Against Humanity, it’s similar, but different in that players act out the accents and phrases.”
Even though this game was born in Chicago, they do tend to get around. While being inappropriate it is so much fun. During the game you are encouraged to improvise and make each phrase yours. These guys know that having fun and laughing with family and friends is what life is all about. And they have played this game for years at family parties and gatherings. Now they have decided to share the fun with the world. And I am so glad!
With each game you will receive 500 different cards that are a mix of 45 accent cards and 455 phrase cards. And oh my goodness, some of the phrases that are on the cards. This is definitely a game that is not to be played with younger children. It is all in good fun but not for younger ears.
But if you get a bunch of your friends over. Drink a few beers or mixed drinks and let the accents start flying. Even some of your shyer friends will become great improv masters. And if you don’t know what the accent sounds like – fake it! Because I’m sure if you don’t know your friends won’t know either. Great fun and priceless memories are made when playing this game! Just be careful that you don’t laugh so hard you lose your pants or pee your pants! Our family loves this game and I’m sure yours will also!
