I am a girl who LOVES her aromatherapy. I love everything about it. From the way it smells to the way it makes me feel throughout the day. It increases my mood and just helps me have that extra “zip” in my step. Everyone uses aromatherapy for the ordinary stuff, but I have found ways to use it in places you have never thought of.
If you have ever pooper scooped in the backyard, you basically know what it smells like. From one aromatherapy lover to another, you need to air one of your favorite scents to help get the smell out of your backyard and clothing.
After Mowing the Lawn
My husband loves to mow, but when he comes in after mowing, I feel like he walked into a mud pit. After I see that he is done mowing, I use Patchouli in my Aromatherapy Diffuser. Now that is an earthy, woody, sweet smell that I can stand—cut wet grass, not so much.
When the Air Conditioner Goes Out
Listen, it’s hot out there, and sometimes the air conditioner stops working. When the air conditioner stops working, sometimes body parts start working overtime. This is definitely a place or occasion you never thought of using your diffuser and aromatherapy oils. Seriously, best invention ever.
In the Car- To Combat Road Rage
I don’t recommend plugging in your diffuser in the car, but you can totally use aromatherapy in the car. One of my favorite places to use aromatherapy to help combat the road rage that I sometimes feel when I’m driving in my vehicle. Chamomile is like the magic key when it comes to calming and soothing you as you drive.
I’m sure you can understand where I’m coming from when I talk about using aromatherapy in places you never thought of. Sure, aromatherapy is awesome for having a spa experience in the tub and mixing with a carrier oil. However, there are other creative ways you can use aromatherapy around the home.
