Coming up with tasty treats or snacks for the vegetarian in your life can be hard. It is a new lifestyle for me. I am trying to learn more about eating healthy. I eat all kinds of foods but I am learning that vegetarian meals can be tasty and good for me. Yves Veggie Cuisine is the perfect snack or for any meal time.
We have a new pastor in our church. His whole family is vegetarian and we try to accommodate them in our gatherings. Last Sunday was our Third Sunday Fellowship. People bring snacks and treats and we linger and get to know more about each other. It is one of my favorite times at church and I have made so many friendships from this time. So anyway, back to snack time. I took my usual cookies and mixed nuts but last week I took something new. I took these wonderful snacks called Yves Veggie Cuisine. They were Falafel Bites and Kale and Quinoa Bites. I heated them up in my oven for about 12 mins. Then just put them on a serving tray with toothpicks. They were a hit with everyone!
Everyone in the gathering tried them and they loved them. Especially the Kale and Quinoa bites. They smelled so good too. I am not a big fan of kale but these tasted great! I will definitely be buying them over and over for entertaining and for my family.
The Falafel bites contain chickpeas, onions, carrots and a mix of herbs and spices. They are good by themselves or you can put them in a wrap with a little Greek dressing drizzled over them. Yum!
