When we were small, our weekends consisted of watching cartoons on the weekend, because during the week we had school. We loved watching the Roadrunner, Bugs Bunny and of course Tom and Jerry. Those two always had us laughing; Jerry always got Tom in some way or another.
So when Tom and Jerry, back to Oz came out, I wanted to get it for my son but also myself. So we can have a family night and remember a time when nothing bothered us. Click your heels and travel with Tom and Jerry back to the land of OZ, For an adventure that awaits you over the rainbow.
The wicked witch of the west might have been defeated, watch out there’s a new villain in Oz, And threatens all of Oz and it’s up to, Tom and Jerry and their magical adventures to see that Oz stays safe from harm. Dorothy and Tom and Jerry get thrust back to the Land of Oz when an evil Gnome King takes over the Emerald City and sends flying monkeys to Kansas to steal Dorothy’s magical ruby slippers.
Just like taking me back to watching Oz on tv when we were younger, this adventure has it all the flying monkeys and the ruby slippers what can be better than that, like Tom and Jerry are fighting against all the bad people. We loved the movie, and Devon got a kick out of the monkeys. Back to Oz’ was obviously made with great care and is worthy in its own right. Tuneful, colorful, and humorous for all ages. Instead of a witch, this time, the whole gang reunites to save Oz from the Gnome King.
Tom and Jerry are in for the adventure of a lifetime, having to save Dorthy’s beloved friends, the Lion, Tin Man, and the Scarecrow and let’s not forget her dog. Will they be able to save the day, you will have to get the movie and see.
