Tips for Packing the Perfect Diaper Bag

I have four kids and I am no dummy when it comes to packing the perfect diaper bag. Diaper bags are a necessity when you have multiple children or even one child. There are things you need in order to get where you’re going successfully. Check out these tips for packing the perfect diaper bag.

#1. Get the right sized diaper bag.

No joke, you don’t want a diaper bag that is too small or too big. Do some in person shopping to make sure you pick out the right diaper bag. As your kids get older, you need less and less!

#2. Pack the essentials.

When it comes to packing the perfect diaper bag, you need the essentials first. Items like diapers, baby wipes, and an extra change of clothing. You never know what could happen when you’re out and about.

#3. Don’t forget the extras.

Over the years of packing diaper bags, I have always made room for the extras. Snacks, drinks, and small toys. I also try to keep busy bags in the diaper bag, for when the kids need something to do. The diaper bag becomes a wonderland when your kids need items! I’m amazed sometimes at what I remembered to put in there.

#4. Pack something for mom.

I am all for packing items for the kids in the diaper bag. However, mom also needs a few things for herself. I always pack myself a bottle of water and my most favorite treat in the world: Cookie Chips. You have never tried anything like this before. When I took my first bite of these cookies, I wanted to know where to buy them. Here is a little more about Cookie Chips:

Cookie Chips is a portable treat you both can feel good about. That’s because these thin bite-sized snacking cookies are made with premium, better-for-you ingredients, like milled cane sugar, creamery butter, and cage-free eggs. All without any GMO’s, artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. Tastes like a cookie, eats like a chip – what could be better? Cookie Chips retail for $3.99 and is available at Target.
