Are you trying to stay warm as the weather gets colder? It is possible to still exercise outside, even when it’s cold. I wanted to share some tips for being active, even in the cold weather.
Wait until it warms up
Some of you may love working out in the cold weather, but at least wait until it warms up a bit. If you wait until mid-morning, it will be a lot warmer than it is at 6 or 7 AM. It’s amazing how much warmer it can get just within a few hours.
Set goals for yourself
You don’t have to get out there every day in the cold, but if it is what you want or need, then feel free to do it. Setting goals for yourself is always a god thing. I love being out in the cold weather, working out, so it’s never a problem for me to set goals for myself and stick with them.
Get a workout partner
Another way to get active in the cold weather is to do it with someone else. A workout partner can motivate you, even when you do not feel motivated yourself. It’s amazing how that works, isn’t it?
