How did the holidays get here so quickly? I can hardly believe it! This holiday season, I am doing a lot of hosting. Since hosting is a lot of work, I decided that I wanted to do my best to entertain, but not stress myself out. Here are my best tips for entertaining this holiday season.
Make a list of everything you need
You can’t get through the holidays without making a list of everything you need. I carry my list with me while shopping and it has been a huge lifesaver. There is nothing worse than having to make several trips to the store. Why not get it done all at once?
Don’t over invite!
Nothing stresses me out more than over inviting people. I try to keep in mind how many people I can handle. By not over inviting, I am able to relax and not spend the whole time entertaining. If you do want to invite a lot of people, just ask them to pitch in and help with bringing items or entertaining.
Make the food list super easy
Cooking is a lot of fun, but not when you are stressed. This holiday season, I am keeping the menu simple. I love to offer New York Style! It is the perfect food for holiday entertaining. It’s delicious and you can make a variety of dishes with it. Whether you choose the Bagel Chips, Panetini, or Pita Chips for your holiday entertaining, you will be in good hands.
Offer healthy drink options
A lot of people are trying to eat and drink healthy this holiday season. With the start of the New Year, you can help your friends and family start making a healthy choice now. At my holiday parties, I offer True Citrus! Instead of offering sugary drinks, it is nice to offer them a healthy alternative. At my holiday parties and after the New Year, True Citrus is my go to drink to stay hydrated and healthy!
