Tips for a Clean Bathroom

Keeping a clean bathroom can be difficult. It’s a room that everyone in the family uses on a daily basis. With all of traffic in and out, it’s sure to get messy. Since I prefer to have a clean bathroom over a messy one, I’ve started a list of tips I can use to help keep it nice and clean all the time. Here are a few tips that have really helped my family.

What Goes In Must Come Out

My son is infamous for leaving his dirty clothes in the bathroom after a shower. Because we want to keep a clean bathroom, we’ve started use the rule that whatever goes into the bathroom must come out. It took awhile for him to get the hang of this, and a lot of reminding on my part, but the clothes have finally disappeared from the bathroom floor.

Weekly Bathroom Cleaning Parties

We try to pick up the little things in the bathroom every day. However, I’ve noticed that a weekly bathroom cleaning party is the best way to ensure the bathroom sparkles. On Saturdays, I make sure we have a heavy-duty cleaning party so that we can scrub the toilet, sink, bathtub, and everything else that needs to be cleaned. This makes the bathroom sparkly clean, making any small mess in there more noticeable. This prompts us to clean up those smaller messes right away.

Have the Right Tools

Having the right tools is important for a clean bathroom. One tool that I’ve found to be very helpful is the shower squeegee I found on Amazon. We use this tool during our weekly bathroom cleaning parties to make sure the shower shines! I love how it removes all of the water stains and soap spots from the shower walls, making the bathtub look cleaner than ever. It’s so useful that I’ve put it on my list of gifts to buy for my loved ones this spring.Shower Squeegee for a Clean Bathroom
