We are a Cereal Family! Every morning we all eat cereal in a different way. My husband, he goes for the “good for you” cereal, my son he is 14 and loves the sugary kind, my daughter doesn’t like milk, so I have to get her cereal that taste good plain or with coconut milk, oh yeah than me who will eat anything, to be honest.
Well, we came across this NEW cereal at Kroger the other day, and I got two boxes! I bought this cereal mainly because they looked too cute. I know cute and cereal don’t go together but with this cereal they do, trust me. I was thinking about the whole family too- healthy, sweet, and taste good without milk. I would love to be able to buy one box of cereal for everyone, not three different kinds. I bet you are wondering what is it well it is called TINY TOAST from General Mills.
It is the summer time, and I think I deserve a break too from getting up and making breakfast for my teenagers, it’s about time (well its been time) they do this on their own! I warned them (broke the news) that during the summer, they will have to make their own breakfast and lunch. After the oohing and awwing I showed them their choices and they were pretty excited. I was excepting more of a fight, but it didn’t happen. I’m not sure how I feel about that, but I’ll be okay.
When I got up this morning look what my daughter made:
She LOVES TINY TOAST and even made this art for me to see to say thanks.
As a mom, I love Tiny Toast because it tastes GREAT, there is real fruit in every piece, no artificial flavors, no colors from artificial sources, no high-fructose corn syrup, and only 9 grams of sugar! My daughter is already thinking of ways to use this cereal in her baking. She wants to crunch them up and use on top of like a cobbler, see how they taste in a smoothie, and cupcake decorating was three ideas she came up with after breakfast this morning. I foresee us buying Tiny Toast on a regular now.
She also put them in baggies for snacks. She told me she wanted to do this before everyone ate up her favorite kind- Strawberry! I have to agree the Strawberry is my favorite too, but the boys they are loving the Blueberry!
