Now that Maia has finally passed her bar exam, she is ready to tackle some cases. Her dad has just been arrested for a million dollar, investment fraud sending ripples through the whole community.
Diane is ready to retire she has got a small fortune from working every day of her life, and she’s willing to revel in it, passing the baton to new lawyers — like her goddaughter, Maia Rindell.
While Maia is just starting her right life, Diane has become what she used to loathe, fighting for the government of Cook County against police brutality cases. Diane soon finds her self-broke and homeless. She and her god daughter are about to start working side by side, can these two entirely different woman be able too. These two daring and different women begin work at one of Chicago’s pre-eminent law firms.
This series is dealing with a lot of real life things, happening in the world today such as police brutality, racism, sexism in the workplace, and homophobia. We are soon made familiar with three women who is going to dominate our screens. They are going to fight for people who deserve a chance when others think not. Like in real life we are always looking for the truth, when the scandal has ruined the reputation of not only them., but the lives of so many people.
We will meet a man who claims he’s on prison and didn’t do it, watch a feisty girl fight to keep her job. The real reason a woman’s face is the way it is. Everything that we loved about the original offered and so much more. So much scandal and drive and the drama is endless. If you never saw The Good Wife, you may just fall in love with this one.
After you see the first episode, you will learn if these ladies, have it in them to put up a Good Fight. There is some swearing so not for anyone under age.
The first two episodes of The Good Fight will be available to stream exclusively on CBS All Access on February 19, at 8 PM ET. There will be a special screening of the first episode network’s home channel at the same time.
