Summer on the French Riviera – The Living is Easy

Scott Fitzgerald had a passion for the French Riviera, calling it a “playground” and describing it as a place where the whole world goes to “forget or rejoice, to hide its face or have its fling.” He is not alone in his summary – every year people up-sticks and leave the UK for the warmth and laidback lifestyle associated with a more pleasant life in the South of France.
