This book had me sitting on the edge of my seat, not knowing what was going to happen next and with who, she has to keep her and the suspect alive. Your thinking you know whats happeneing and before you know it, its something else.
The story moves quickly to the arrest and trial of the deceased’ trusted employee, a Mexican all round (and handsome) gardener, handyman and more. The billionaire’s wife before during and after the murder is carrying on an affair with a United States Senator. Batista is one of the nation’s top criminal defence lawyers and he puts that expertise to full use. This book should make any and all best seller lists. I lost a good night’s sleep reading it into the wee hours and then rehashing it in my mind for another hour.
Through the eyes of criminal defense attorney Raquel Rematti, you’ll see the criminal justice system laid bare. Loved this book the thrill and the guessing, kept me glued to the book.
