It is so essential for parents new and old to help their baby during their first 5 years learn the world around them. Our brains are not fully developed until 5 so the more we are exposed to the better we are at caring out cognitive functions later for the rest of our life. Baby’s have milestones too and the first year is a huge learning year. They learn who they can trust, how to communicate, and so much more in their first year and it happens at a massive pace. So what better to engage your learning baby than with a learning kit that focuses precisely on their learning needs. Teach My baby is a wonderful kit with four learning sets inside:
- Teach My Baby First Words Learning Set
- Teach My Baby First Numbers Learning Set
- Teach My Baby Self Learning Set
- Teach My Baby Sounds & Touch Learning Set
My favorite set right now is the Self learning set, since my daughter is currently only 6 months old it’s the perfect set to start with because she can see all the babies and relate with them. In the set there are Cards that on one side have a mirror and the other have a part of the face. So you can look at the baby’s mouth in the picture then flip over the card and point out the mouth on your baby. The stacking blocks are also great fun, they all fit inside each other but each clock has a baby with a focus face part on it like EYE. All the way around the block the eye feature of that baby is present and then the last side of the block there is another mirror to look into. this set also features a book that has the same babies and focus feature facial parts and then a mirror in the back of the book. My daughter is really enjoying this set! The Numbers learning set goes though to the number 5 and has a counting board with animal finger puppets and a counting book. The first Words Set has a set of learning cards with pop out pictures of the words and a book as well. The Teach my baby Sounds and Touch is my second favorite set. It comes with animals cards that have fuzzy sides to them so baby can explore the sounds animals make while trying out different textures. Animal puzzle pieces and an animal book with the same fuzzy textures as the cards. Teach My has other wonderful kits for children including the Teach My Toddler, Preschooler and now Kindergartner as well. Make sure to stop by Teachmy.com to see all the learning kits that they offer including the bathtime kits.
