How to Take Care of Yourself When You Work from Home

Working from home is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I love it so much because it allows me to be home with my kids, but at the same time it can be hard on my body. I never realized how hard working from home was on my body until my wrists started hurting and I gained about 30 pounds. I realized that because I work from home, I am going to have to change things up and take care of myself a little better than usual. Here is how to take care of yourself when you work from home.

Drink lots of water

One thing you can do to take care of yourself, when working from home, is by drinking water. Water is a simple healthy trick that is super easy. It’s something that I have challenged myself to do more of and I’m glad. Your body can never really have enough water.

Eat as healthy as possible

I like to have my cheats, but for the most part, I enjoy eating as healthy as possible. Eating healthy doesn’t have to be hard. I like to have eggs for breakfast, a salad or sandwich for lunch, and then meat and a veggie for dinner. Keeping your meals simple is always a great way to eat healthy and take care of yourself.

Take care of your wrists

Most people who work from home, work on their computer. A great tool that I use is the Rist Roller. Rolling your wrist is one of the best ways to take care of your hands/wrists when you work from home. It’s amazing how something small like this really helps. I love using this every day! You should try it!
