If you’re anything like us, you’re holding onto every shred of summer you can! We just returned from a week on Chincoteague Island, and it was still summer there! (We missed our fur babies, but other than that, we didn’t want to leave!)
Before I left, Sun Bum® reached out to me and asked if I’d like to try their products. Knowing we were heading south, (and seeing that all of their products are cruelty free,) I quickly agreed. They came the day before we left, so the timing was absolutely perfect. I couldn’t wait to try them out on the beach.
Sun Bum® Original
The first of their products they sent me was their Sun Bum® Original Sun Block Lotion in 50 SPF. I was happy about this as my medications make me super sun sensitive, and who wants to burn and be miserable their entire vacation? It worked great. It kept me from getting crispy, and it was light weight, with a gentle smell.
They also offer it in 15, 30, 70 SPF. You can choose from traditional lotion or a spray. Sun Bum® also has Clear Zinc Oxide, for those that spend a lot of time in the sun. You can also get their Cool Down After Sun Gel, Lotion, and Spray to give some relief to your sun drenched skin.
Don’t Forget Your Hair!
My sister has super long hair, (it’s past her bottom,) so she was especially excited to try out the Sun Bum® Beach Formula Sea Spray. I was too, as I have very thick hair, that acts all wonky when exposed to sun, salt water, and of course humidity.
This light weight spray protects your locks from the sun’s harmful rays, while also blocking humidity that will send your mane into a frizzy mess! Both of us used it, multiple times, every day, all week. We both LOVED how it made our hair look and smell. (Seriously, it smells fantastic!) It helps define your strands, giving you a nice, beachy wave. (We also twisted some of our locks, and it made our hair look so nice!)
Not Just Skin and Hair
While Sun Bum® has many other skin and hair products, that’s not all they offer. They also have a full line of SPF lip balms, a signature series, beach towels, clothes, frisbees, and more. Do yourself, and your skin a favor and head on over to their website and check them out. You can also follow them on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest.
