The Wonderful Taste of Home
Finding the perfect way for to obtains some great meal ideas can be a challenge. That’s why it’s always great to have a solution that you can fall back on. So with that being said, it’s time to introduce you to a special book selection, and that is “Taste of Home 100 Family Meals: Bringing the Family Back to the Table.”
Sometimes making dinner for the family can be hard. Getting them to help me prepare it is even harder. Everyone is on different schedules in our house, and I try and get everyone to sit down for dinner at least 2-3 nights a week, and I can tell you that is hard work. I need meals that are easy and sometimes fast to make. Well, this week I prepared a recipe from the Taste of Home 100 Family Meals and my family actually helped me and loved it!
I made the Bacon Cheeseburger Tater Tot Bake (found on page 30). It was so easy to make and delicious! We had so much fun cooking together, that my family now wants to make it a weekly event. We will pick two recipes a week to make together. This is our New Year’s resolution to each other. More time at the dinner table together, something that we have not done since the kids were younger.
There are so many wonderful recipes in this book; I can’t tell you how hard it was for me to pick one to make with them. We have another one we are going to make tomorrow; it will be a dessert this time! I am so grateful for the chance to bring my family back to the table.
