Did you know that roughly sixty million Americans struggle with some sort of sleep disorder each year. (My son and husband both rarely sleep. My son’s is attributed to Autism and Bipolar Disorder. My husband on the other hand is more of a “can’t switch his mind off,” problem.) That’s where the Lavender Sleep Pad by Earthwonderful comes in!
Lavender has been used for over 2,500 years by herbalists, as a natural, aromatherapy sleep aid. In ancient cultures, it was used for bathing, to treat ailments, and for antiseptic purposes.
Lavender Sleep Pad by Earthwonderful
Earthwonderful recently reached out to us at Kelly’s Thoughts on Things. They wanted us to try out their Lavender Sleep Pad. I was excited about getting this, because I knew my son and husband would enjoy trying this out.
Removable Aroma Insert Refill (The smell is to die for!)
When the Lavender Sleep Pad came, I opened it, and didn’t want to stop smelling it! (Lavender is one of my most favorite scents!) This natural and innovative product is made with hundreds of organic lavender flowers, embedded in wool for maximum aromatherapeutic benefit and comfort.
(My son is very sensitive to smells, so I was curious as to how he would react. He loves it! He didn’t want to put it down. He just kept sniffing and smelling it!)
The cover is washable, which is so convenient. The back of the soft pad opens like an envelope, or a pillow sham, so you can easily remove the aroma insert. Then just wash according to directions. It’s made from an organic cotton blend and will last up to five years. It’s very soft, and my son loves the feel of it.
Easy peasy! Once a week, remove the aroma insert. Roll it up and squeeze it with your hands. This way, you are helping the lavender blossom to release their oil and the scent will stay fresh.
