Show Your Prego Tummy Some Love

It’s no secret, that as our baby grows inside our womb, so too does our belly. Here are some ways to show your prego tummy some love.

Show Your Prego Tummy Some Love

Getting stretch marks is an expected part of being pregnant. You should really be proud of them, because after all, they’re proof that we’re growing a human inside of us. However, there’s no shame in caring for your tummy skin, getting it ready to stretch out, and showing it some love. I’m not going to lie. I don’t care about the stretch marks on my stomach and breasts because only I really see them. However, I hate the ones on my upper legs!

The best place to start is to prepare it to grow. Belli Elasticity Belly Oil combines science and aromatherapy to prepare your belly to stretch. The blend of pure plant extracts is safe, and OB/GYN, as well as Dermatologist recommended. This oil includes Vitamin E and Gotu Kola which will help prevent stretch marks. It’s perfectly safe to use during pregnancy, and can be applied morning and night to your stomach, hips, breasts, and thighs.

Other ways to help prevent stretch marks

Not only do you need to care for your skin from the outside, but you must care for it from the inside too. Drink plenty of water, and make sure you’re eating a nutrient rich diet. Make sure you add plenty of Vitamin C, E, and Zinc to your diet. Get out in the sun and soak up some Vitamin D, but be sure to protect your skin from the sun’s rays.

Try your best to control your weight. I can’t say much here. I gained a whopping eighty pounds while I was pregnant for my son. I blame part of that on bed rest due to my high risk pregnancy, and the other part on Taco Bell. Don’t follow my example. Try your best to eat a balanced diet, and gain weight appropriately for you and your baby. Pregnancy is a magical time. Enjoy it and love yourself.
