July is my most favorite summer month. It’s usually the hottest, so we spend a lot of days at our favorite swimming hole. What’s a popular (and my favorite) treat for when it’s sweltering out? Ice cream of course. But if you’re serving your family, not just any scoop will do.
Scoop Out a Bowl of Happiness with T-Fal
Another reason it’s my favorite is because it’s National Ice Month. As a matter of fact, President Ronald Reagan designated it ice cream month in 1984. (He also picked the third Sunday of July as National Ice Cream day.) I love a cold creamy cone on a super hot day, and my son could eat it just about twenty-four seven if we’d let him. It’s because of this that we got the T-Fal Comfort Trigger Ice Cream Scoop.
We have tried countless scoops over the years, but this is by far our favorite. First of all, it’s stainless steel, so it really digs right into even the hardest ice cream. Secondly it has a trigger-activated mechanism so you get the perfect serving, each and every time, and it won’t stick into your scoop! It releases easily, and perfectly. The soft grip, non-slip handle is nice too. (I have carpal tunnel, and this scoop is the easiest one I have found, that works the best as well.)
Not just for ice cream
This scoop is for more than just ice cream. If you like to bake cookies, then you’ll want one too. It’s wonderful for spooning the same amount of dough each and every time. Gone are the days of having to use two spoons to dole out your dough. All you’ll need is the T-Fal Comfort Trigger Ice Cream Scoop. If you fill it you will get super sized cookies, which my family happens to love. Or you can fill it part way. Either way, you’ll get more uniform sized cookies, with little effort.
I have two of these scoops, and I just recently got one for my dad. He and my babcia (grandma) have ice cream every night. With arthritis in his hands, he loves his and reports that it works perfectly!
