The Martin Luther King holiday weekend is almost here, and many families are still looking for activities for the entire family that offer engagement, inspiration and entertainment. The Rez Kidz event at the Gatlinburg Convention Center on January 18-‐19 offers all that and more in the beautiful setting of the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains.
“The goal of this Rez Kidz event is simple,” said Chris Cate, one of the event’s coordinator. “Our mission is to equip families with the tools they can use to strengthen their faith together. We dream of parents and their children committing together to make their faith a priority and of watching the gospel message change lives, one family at a time.
Rez Kidz is a one-‐of-‐a-‐kind family worship experience allowing them all to share together through a two-‐day retreat and renewal time that builds up and ministers to the whole family. The thoroughly child-‐ and family-‐friendly atmosphere features dynamic music that parents will want their kids to like and listen to, along with the most sought-‐after names in children’s ministry – including The Lads, an exciting rock band for kids and families; TuneTime: a pre-‐school ministry for families with 2-‐6 year olds; and Tim & Amanda Cowles, the creators of Skadoodles!, a family-‐focused ministry.
Registration fee per person (both children and adults) is $30; children 3 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased at the door beginning at 5:00 PM January 18 th . For more information on the Rez Kidz conference in Gatlinburg January 18-‐19, visit rezkidz.com
