Can Drusilla end the malignant legacy that Edith set in motion, hindered by those that wish to control its power for their own ends?
What a terrific read.I really enjoyed reading this book. An interesting blending of different historical periods. A thrilling fast paced novel, had me wanting more. The characters, drama, humor and horror all mix so well together. When Miriam Cooke wrote this book she gave us a little bit of everything. This is a wonderful first book and I really can’t wait for the second book. A taste of the occult and a well researched story line, any fan of the occult and paranormal will love this book. I highly recommend this book. The ending of this book was so riveting.
About Miriam Cooke:
Miriam Cooke is a writer, archaeologist, social historian and broadcaster for BBC, C4, five, Discovery and National Geographic and is one of the presenters on BBC One’s Country tracks. After this she moved to Durham University on a PhD scholarship. She now lives in the South East of England with her screenwriter husband, two young children and mad border collie Frank.
Miriam’s ideas are drawn from, and layered with influences from, her archaeology background and interest in folklore, social history and the occult. She likes a good scare. Drusilla Blood is Miriam’s debut novel and she is now busy writing the second book in the series, The Blood Trilogy, which she hopes will be ready after the summer.
