Organize Your Keys With Label-Label™ Key Caps. My kids can never seem to find the house key on my key ring, ever. Even though I have repeatedly told them that it’s the only key in between my car key and the door lock fob, they still look at the set of keys like they are an unsolveable puzzle. They’re not little kids, either, they are 12, 16 and 22 years old!!!
I was excited for this item because not only is it something that I can use, there are eight key cap covers, some pre-printed labels, and a ton of printable and write on labels so my whole family can benefit from this one system and it’s completely customizable!
I love the wide range of fun, bright colors. They are super-stretchy and will fit most keys. The ease of trimming the pre-printed “Home” label to mark my house key on my keychain was a very simple process. The key cap was snug but still very easy to slide down over the top of my house key. In fact, the hardest part about the whole process was getting my stupid key on and off the key ring, never a super-easy thing for me because I can’t ever seem to be dexterous enough to hold the opening in my key ring while wiggling the key into the opening. I have broken many a fingernail trying to do this. I hate it!
I dare my kids to complain about not being able to find the house key now! See those two gold keys on the key ring? One is to my sister-in-law’s house, the other is to my mother-in-law’s house. I never can remember which is which. The next time my husband and I visit his Mom I will figure out which key goes to her house and label those. The other two silver keys, I have no idea anymore what they go to. I think one of them is for my sister’s house, though I really never have occasion to use it.
My older daughter will love these, too. And my son just turned 16 and was given the key to our Silverado for him to learn to drive on. He won’t have any other keys on his key ring other than that and his house key, but maybe he will want to use one, too.
These are inexpensive, fun and will appeal to everyone — young and old. They would make great gifts for anyone who has to sift through a bunch of keys to find the right one. New drivers to old ones, these would be great for them all! (Would make great stocking stuffers, too, with the holidays coming up)
