Ahh swim suit season. The bane of existence for many women. I’ve never cared for it. I used to be what society deemed tiny and skinny, and I still didn’t care for it. Even though summer is coming to an end, you can still find the perfect outfit to swim in.
It’s Not Too Late to Find the Perfect Swim Outfit
I’ve never cared for swim suit shopping, but who doesn’t want to see themselves in cute one piece swimsuits? I have a long torso, so many one piece suits would ride right up on me. Not only did it look awful but it made me so uncomfortable. I’ve never really cared for two pieces either. I felt they didn’t cover enough, or I was afraid to have a breast pop out, or the bottoms to slide off when jumping or diving.
Even when I was thinner, I would often wear a tee-shirt over the suit I had just in case I had a wardrobe malfunction. That wasn’t comfortable either. In the past few years I’ve worn a two piece under a swim dress, but I hate that too because when you get out of the water, it sticks to me like glue. I felt I was never going to find something I truly loved to swim in. Then I discovered girltrunks®.
