If you’re a parent, movie night can be an exercise in compromise, steering the young ones away from the abundance of terrible kids’ movies out there. Our family has used Netflix for several years now. We absolutely love it! We love streaming Netflix! Because of the ease of getting it on all our devices, it’s pretty much all we watch for children’s shows even though we have a pretty great DVD collection. We are able to stream it instantly with the touch of a button to our TV through the Xbox 360, Wii, on the iPad, on the iPhone and on the computer. Netflix is available on hundreds of devices, some of which you probably already have at home.
Netflix just recently added new shows from Hasbro, Disney Jr., and The Cartoon Network! Devon loves watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Road Rally, Sesame Street and 101 Dalmatians. Amanda on the other hand loves watching Suite Life of Zack & Cody. Netflix has something for everyone.
When we go on an family vacations I love that we are able to watch movies from Netflix. Streaming is easier than you think. Download the free app on your iPad, click on the Netflix app on any gaming device or visit Netflix.com on your computer. Amanda watches it from her smart phone and IPad.
Netflix shows and movies provide great benefits for families. It’s nice to control what we watch and when, instead of just flipping through channels to see what’s on. For me, having the kids shows I like my kids to watch on demand makes it much easier to steer them away from shows I find less desirable. The dedicated kids section has family favorites appropriate for children ages 2- 12. All content is selected with help from Common Sense Media to provide ratings, reviews and information so parents can easily make choices for their kids!
What are you watching on TV with your family? Netflix has family favorites from Disney, Disney Jr., Hasbro, Cartoon Network and Dreamworks that are available to stream anytime, anywhere.
And streaming is easier than you think! Download the free app on your iPad, click on the Netflix app on any gaming device, go to the website on your computer – and you’re in business. Check it out here!
