Must Have Stocking Stuffers This Year

The treats are made, the presents are bought, and everything is falling into place—except for the stockings. It’s easy to overlook this Christmas necessity, so I have made a list of all of the goodies you need to fill up those decorative stockings this year, so stop your stressing and get to stuffing.

Technology items

Techie items are great for those older kids or adults that you need to find stocking fillers for, so check out these crazy cool items that will make your family tear into their stocking come Christmas morning.

Chromecast

Chromecast allows any tablet with the Chrome browser to cast right to your television. That means Netflix, Hulu, and even Facebook can be pulled up on a larger screen. This stocking stuffer can be used right away to cast one of your favorite Christmas movies on to the television once you move from the stockings to the presents wrapped under the tree.

Chargehub

The Chargehub is an innovative tool that can work for your device-happy spouse or child. This tool offers seven—that’s right, seven!—USB charging ports for 48 watts of power. This means that up to seven different devices, including phones, iPod, or even cameras can be charged at the same time. No more fighting for power sources.

Hexbug Nano

The Hexbug Nano is an ideal stocking stuffer for the younger techies living in your house. This fun robot uses vibration to move itself forward and explore its surrounding area. So simple yet innovative—this will get the whole family laughing at its spastic movement antics.

Funny Food Items

Instead of throwing the normal candies in there this year, add some foodie gifts that add a unique twist to your Christmas celebrations.

Tobasco chocolate

Do you know someone who has a hard time deciding between spicy and sweet? You can help them do both this year by adding a piece of Tobasco chocolate to their stocking. These dark chocolate wedges pack a serious punch, and are sure to delight the foodie in your family.

Astronaut Ice Cream

This is a fun one for the little kids, but adults will definitely get a kick out of it, too. Dehydrated ice cream offers all the flavor of your favorite icy treat, but none of the mess—and none of that chill. You can order it online or find it in your local Walmart in a variety of flavors.

Bacon Candy Canes

Every meat eater loves a good piece of bacon, so mix the taste of this delicious breakfast food with a Christmas tradition that might get some gasps of shock when tasted. Bacon candy canes might turn a few noses up, but this niche taste will probably find some fans in your family during this Christmas season.

Wine Aerator

One more food-related gift, but this time for only those 21 and older that will be opening up stockings come Christmas morning. A wine aerator is the perfect stocking stuffer for the wino you love, and it will make popping open those inevitable wine gifts even more fun this year—not to mention more delicious.

For the Kids

Even if Santa gets all the glory for the gifts in your kids’ stockings, you’ll have the joy of watching their faces light up whenever they discover any of the following kid-approved stocking stuffers.

Some Educational Tattoos

Animal Hand Tattoos from Zugar Land will definitely be a hit this year. Designed to be an educational toy, they will help your children utilize their imagination and have a ball of time—and it’s such an inexpensive and simple toy.

Choose Your Own Adventure Books

If you’ve never experienced the joy of Choose Your Own Adventure books, you’ll want to read right along with your kids. As the title suggests, these age-appropriate novels let your kids decide how the story plays out, which is a learning tool in itself about decision making.

Bathtub Crayons

Do you have an aspiring Picasso for a toddler? Normally I wouldn’t condone letting your children draw on the walls, but Crayola makes it easy with their washable crayons. These fun coloring utensils will provide hours of sudsy fun and be easily washed off when it’s time to drain the tub.
