Bauli Authentic Italian Croissants have a rich history of survival. Starting with a humble bakers son named Ruggero. Growing up in a bakery, Ruggero learned all of the secrets to making the best Italian pastries first hand. He wanted to share his craft with America, so he boarded a steamship to fulfill his dream. On board the Princess Mafalda steamship there was an accident and the ship sunk. He was among the survivors. He eventually headed back home to Verona, Italy to open his own shop. It was there that he started the legacy of authentic Italian treats that were ready to eat. The Bauli family heritage is one steeped in traditional recipes and that continues on today.
Mini Croissant with Big Flavor!
On the weekends, I like to have something special for breakfast. Some times I make eggs or french toast or pancakes. It is a wonderful time when I try to make more time for our family and slow down the crazy schedule. During the week, we usually eat cold cereal for breakfast. So the weekends are a time when we can relax and enjoy a full breakfast that is hot and satisfying.
I was thrilled to taste these Croissants from Bauli. Authentic Italian Croissants are definitely a treat to be enjoyed. I had some with a cup of coffee and they were delicious. Super soft and chewy the croissant is bite sized and tasty. The chocolate filling is just enough to balance the flakiness of the pastry. It is hard to just eat one since it tastes so fresh and delicious.
This bite sized croissant might be small but it is full of flavor. Rich buttery pastry with just a dollop of chocolate in the center give you the right amount of sweetness for the morning. Each of these are perfect right out of the bag. You can taste the quality. These pastries take over 18 hours to make and the authentic Italian recipe makes them irresistible.
