MedCenter System has helped my husband out greatly. He is on a lot of different medications and sometimes he forgets to take them. I work so I am not home all the time to remind him. MedCenter System works on a tri-date verification system. Research has proven that the confusion can occur as to what day of the week it is. My husband has this problem if I have a three-day weekend.
Due to this, the importance is on the DATE rather than the DAY. The DATE is located on each pillbox and pill cavity. The visual display of the clock as well as audibly during the alert messages.
My husband used to fix his medicine up for one week at a time. Now he fixes it for the month. So much simpler and easier. The different colors helps you know at a glance what is going on. I really like this feature because it helps me check on him without “nagging” him about his medicine. Which also gives him the confidence of knowing he doesn’t “need” me to remind him yet.
My husband only takes his medicine twice a day, in the morning and before bedtime. But we have the option to use up to 4 daily alarms. When I leave for work I place that days container beside the clock in the “Today’s Pills” tray. At bedtime, return the pill-box to the stand with the red end up to show that you have taken your daily medication. I feel better now that we use MedCenter and that my husband is taking all of his medicine, even when I’m at work. This is perfect for anyone in your family that may take multiple medications and may forget sometimes.
